Changing You Coverage During the Year
Once your enrollment period ends, you cannot make changes until the next annual enrollment period unless you experience a qualifying event. Examples of qualifying events include:
- Marriage
- Legal separation
- Divorce
- Birth or adoption of a dependent child
- Death of a spouse or a dependent
- Gain/loss of other coverage of a spouse or dependent
If you experience a qualifying event, you must go online to www.mypanerabenefits.com or contact the Benefit Kneads Resource Center (BKRC) at 888-7PANERA (888-772-6372). You must submit the appropriate paperwork within 31 days of the qualifying event.
