Pineapple-Peach Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped fresh or frozen pineapple
  • 2 cups peeled, pitted, and chopped fresh or frozen peaches
  • 2 cups 2% plain Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup 2% milk or light coconut milk
  • ¼ cup honey or agave nectar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon almond extract
  • 1½ teaspoons grated fresh ginger or ¼ teaspoon ginger powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 cups chopped fresh or frozen pineapple
  • 2 cups peeled, pitted, and chopped fresh or frozen peaches
  • 2 cups 2% plain Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup 2% milk or light coconut milk
  • ¼ cup honey or agave nectar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon almond extract
  • 1½ teaspoons grated fresh ginger or ¼ teaspoon ginger powder
  • Pinch of salt

Directions

Step 1.

Combine everything in a blender and puree until smooth.

Step 2.

Divide the smoothie among four glasses.

Tip: Make peeling and pitting peaches a snap: Drop whole fruit in boiling water for about 30 seconds to loosen the skins. Cool the peaches under running water; then slip off the skins with a paring knife and your fingers. Cut each peach all the way around its crease line, twist apart the halves, and flick out the pit. No peaches? Nectarines are a good stand-in.
